”Monomachi 2024" is being held in so-called "Brooklyn", Tokyo.
The event area is 2 km square in the southern part of Taito Ward (Okachimachi - Kuramae - Asakusabashi areas). About 110 stores will participate in the event, selling leather goods, fabrics, accessories, apparel, and more.
Visitors can also experience making small leather goods and have a chance to meet artisans with whom they would not normally have the opportunity to interact.
A "Monomachi" flag is displayed in front of participating stores as a sign.
Why don't you take a stroll through the alleys of downtown, where you usually don't step into, looking for the flags fluttering in the pleasant early summer breeze?
